3D Printing Workshops
Building and Operating your new 3d printer
This workshop consists of 2x 3hr classes
In this first class, your new 3D printer, the worlds most popular amazing little Creality Ender 3 V2 (unless you choose to upgrade or BYO) will be waiting for you to begin your journey into 3D printing. You will have my guidance while starting with the most important job, unpacking and proper assembly of your new high tech machine. Then we will start a sample print provided on your included sd card.
In the second class we will be downloading a model of your choice from thingiverse. We will then spend some time going over the process of slicing and preparing your model for 3D printing.
You will be ready to take your new 3D printer Home to start making and creating with confidence knowing you will always have my ongoing support to back you up .
advanced 3d printing classes
This 3 hour workshop is designed to give you extensive knowledge in the art of preparing your models for 3D printing. We will go deep into the many critical options available in the free CURA slicing software, including support placement, bed adhesion and infill options.
This class will help you understand the principals of 3D printing and ensure you have the best chance of a future full of quality, successful 3D printing.
This class also includes a live demonstration/ disccusion of how to achive the most critical part of any 3D print, a good first layer.
Learn 3d designing using free fuson 360 software
This 3 hour workshop is designed to give you an introduction to the world of Computer Aided Designing. We will be using the amazing and free Fusion 360 software to take an everyday item and reproduce it as an accurate 3d model.
This course will cover everything you need to start you on the path of designing and creating just about anything you can imagine .
